17 years (as on 31st December of the admission year) and above students in India need to score at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in their HS examination. In addition, they should qualify the NEET- “It is informed that the regulations prescribe that the Indian citizens or Overseas Citizen of India intending to obtain primary medical qualification from any medical institution outside India, on or after May 2018, shall have to mandatorily qualify the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET), for admission to MBBS course abroad.

Students who have earned an MBBS degree from foreign universities, need to sit for the MCI screening test. It is also called FMGE or Foreign Medical Graduate Examination. The examination is held twice a year. There is no restriction on the number of times you can sit for the examination.

MCI has made it mandatory that the students who want to study abroad should possess the eligibility certificates. This certificate is the guarantee that the foreign university is MCI eligible.

As per NEET guidelines, the upper age limit for the general candidates is 25 years and for the students belonging to the reserved category, it is 30 years. As, now onwards, you must qualify NEET before getting admission in a foreign university, you need to comply with the upper age limit.
